Energy storage/conversion

Energy storage system (ESS) refers to the device of converting electrical energy from power systems into a form that can be stored for converting back to electrical energy when needed. Due to the scarcity of fossil fuels and environmental concerns, research of energy storage/conversion systems are becoming increasingly important. Energy storage/conversion systems for efficient energy use aim for high energy conversion efficiency and energy storage capacity. These involve broad application such as batteries (Li-S, etc.), supercapacitors, electrocatalysts, etc. So, we are interested in synthesis and characterization of efficient and high-performance materials for the field.
